Rigo selected for European Global Challenge

Reigning America East Rookie of the Year Melissa Rigo of the Stony Brook volleyball team will compete with Team USA at the Bring it Promotions European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia. The tour will take place from July 10-21 and will include training and friendly matches, a competitive four-day tournament and a chance to explore Europe.

The Stony Brook volleyball team has released its 2013 schedule, first-year head coach Coley Pawlikowski announced Tuesday. The new era in SBU volleyball will begin against Sacred Heart in a season-opening tournament hosted by Holy Cross Aug. 30.

Volleyball adds Kathy Fletcher to roster

Stony Brook volleyball head coach Coley Pawlikowski has announced that redshirt sophomore Kathy Fletcher will join the team for the 2013 season.
