St. John's Downs Volleyball, 3-0

Junior Alicia Nelson (Apple Valley, Minn.) and senior Ashley Headen (Alexandria, Va.) combined for 15 kills but the St. John's Red Storm hit .300 on its way to a 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-19) victory over the Stony Brook University volleyball team on Tuesday night in non-conference action at Carnesecca Arena. 08/28/2010 Volleyball Falls To No. 6 Minnesota, Denver on Day Two of Golden Gopher Invite Junior Alicia Nelson (Apple Valley, Minn.) tallied a career-high 20 kills including six in a set one win but the Denver Pioneers rallied to win the next three sets for a 3-1 (20-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-21) victory over the Stony Brook University volleyball team on Saturday on the second day of the 2010 Golden Gopher Invite. 08/27/2010 Volleyball Falls To Marquette In Season Opener, 3-0 Junior Alicia Nelson (Apple Valley, Minn.) tallied a team-high nine kills and senior Ashley Headen (Alexandria, Va.) added eight but it wasn't enough as the Marquette Golden Eagles hit .321 on its way to 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-19) victory over the Stony Brook University volleyball team on Friday night at the Sports Pavilion in the opening game of the 2010 Golden Gopher Invite.
