Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook University's volleyball team added its second member of the 2010 recruiting class when it signed Evann Slaughter (Clinton, Md.) to a National Letter of Intent. A 6'0'' middle blocker, Slaughter attends Oxon Hill High School and played for the Evolution Volleyball Club.

"Evann is an extremely gifted athlete with great jumping ability," said head coach Deborah Matejka-DesLauriers. "Offensively, she will help us right away in the middle blocking position. She brings a strong sense of character to the Seawolves' family that is both confident and highly motivated."
