Rigo named AE Rookie of the Week for seventh time

Freshman outside hitter had SB's first 30-kill match in five years.

2012: Finished the season leading the America East with 443 kills and 4.52 per set average...named America East Rookie of the Year, first-team All-America East and America East All-Rookie...named America East Rookie of the Week seven times...finished third on the team in digs...notched 10+ kills in every match, and reached 20+ kills nine times in the season...racked up 22 kills and 14 digs at Army (Aug. 25)...totaled 77 kills and 50 digs in three wins in four games in the Rose Hill Classic. (Sept. 7, 8)...posted a 21-kill night in five sets vs. Seton Hall (Sept. 14)...added another double-double with 20 kills and 10 digs vs. Albany (Sept. 30)...tallied 18 kills and 11 digs against Binghamton (Oct. 12)...had 25 kills and nine digs while hitting .425 in a 3-1 win at Hartford (Oct. 26)...posted 24 kills and 13 digs against UMBC (Nov. 9)...recorded a season high 31 kills and 8 digs against Binghamton (Nov. 11) becoming the first Seawolves player since 2007 to have 30 kills in a match.
