Swimming & diving placed on competitive hiatus for 2012-13


In conjunction with the impending $10 million critical maintenance renovation of University Pool, Stony Brook Director of Athletics Jim Fiore has announced that the men's & women's swimming and diving programs will be placed on competitive hiatus for the 2012-13 academic year.

Swimming and diving concludes season at AE Championship


The Stony Brook swimming and diving teams closed out the 2011-12 season on Sunday at the America East Championship meet with a fourth-place finish on the men's side and a fifth-place finish on the women's side. Host Boston University captured both the men's and women's championships.

The Stony Brook swimming and diving teams will head to Boston on Thursday for the 2012 America East Championship meet at the Boston University Aquatics Center. The four-day event begins Thursday at 5 p.m. and continues through Sunday, Feb. 26.
