Evanston, Ill. - Stony Brook's women's swimming and diving team recently earned the CSCAA's (College Swimming Coaches Association of America) Scholar All-American Team award for the 2009 fall semester after posting a 3.17 GPA.

The College Swimming Coaches Association selects and honors teams as Scholar All-Americans twice a year, once after each semester (fall/winter and spring). To earn CSCAA Scholar All-American team honors, a swimming team must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA (or converted on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.
