Day Three Results

Boston, Mass. - Strong performances by seniors Sean Conway (Oakdale, N.Y.) and Darcy Heuser (Centerville, Ohio) highlighted the third day of the America East championship for swimming and diving, which sits in fourth on the men's side and fifth on the women's side after 27 events.

Both Conway (1:40.65) and Heuser (1:50.05) registered third-place finishes in the 200 freestyle to give the Seawolves a boost in the morning session.

Junior Julie Policht (Toronto, Ontario) also turned in a top-10 performance in the morning with a sixth-place finish in the 100 butterfly (56.61). Freshman Larry Barbosa (Corona, N.Y.) added a 10th-place standing in the men's 100 fly with a time of 51.03.

In the 100 breaststroke, senior Mark Anderson (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) touched seventh in 57.76, while junior Daniel Wenzel (Norwich, N.Y.) took 10th in the 100 backstroke (53.04).

On the diving board, freshman Kyle Gannon (North Babylon, N.Y.) turned in another solid performance with a score of 252.25 in the three-meter competition, good for fourth overall.

The Seawolves will look to finish the season strong on Sunday when the championship meet concludes from the Boston University Aquatic Center.
