Starkville, Miss. - For the third time in her career, senior Alyssa Struzenberg (Cooper City, Fla.) has been named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Region team. She is one of five pitchers named to the All-Mid-Atlantic second team after posting career-best numbers in ERA (1.80), shutouts (11) and strikeouts (255) this season.

Struzenberg was a first team All-America East selection this season and was also named to the conference's All-Tournament team for her performance during the America East Championship. Struzenberg capped a remarkable career this season by becoming the school's all-time leader in wins (76), shutouts (26) and strikeouts (853).

The all-region teams were chosen by NFCA member coaches from each region, and all the honorees will now be eligible for selection to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-America first, second or third teams. In addition, conference pitchers and players of the year not selected to the regional teams were added for All-America consideration.
