Iona Edges Women's Soccer, 1-0

Stony Brook University's women's soccer team out-shot the Iona Gaels, 14-11, and freshman goalkeeper Chelsea Morales (Temecula, Calif.) made six saves but Abby Dixon's goal in the 34th minute proved to be the difference as the Gaels defeated Stony Brook, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon at Mazzella Field. Women's Soccer Drops Home Opener To Siena, 4-2

Junior Rachel Silverman (Rye Brook, N.Y.) scored the game-tying goal in the 69th minute but Ashleigh Barone notched the game-winner less than 10 minutes later to lead the Siena Saints to a 4-2 victory over the Stony Brook University women's soccer team on Friday night at LaValle Stadium. Stony Brook falls to 0-2-0 with loss while the Saints improve to 2-0-0. [+]

Women's Soccer Falls To No. 18 Rutgers In Season Opener, 3-0

Freshman Chelsea Morales (Temecula, Calif.) made four stops but the No. 18 Rutgers Scarlet Knights scored two first-half goals on its way to a 3-0 victory over the Stony Brook University women's soccer team in the season opener for both teams on Friday night at Yurcak Field. [+]
