The Stony Brook women's soccer team wrapped up a successful spring season with several positive results, including a win over Columbia and strong efforts against BIG EAST foes Seton Hall and St. John's.

Women's soccer holds annual year-end banquet

The Stony Brook women's soccer team held its annual year-end banquet on Friday, handing out individual awards and honoring its seniors, friends and family. Head coach Sue Ryan also announced that Shannon Grogan, Caitlin Pfeiffer and Larissa Nysch would be the team's captains in 2013.

Women's soccer announces upcoming camps and clinics

The Stony Brook women's soccer program and head coach Sue Ryan announced three upcoming camps and clinics for the spring and summer. Two women's soccer clinics will be held on April 27 and June 1, and the Sue Ryan Girls Soccer Camp will be held from July 21-24.

Women's soccer inks eight to NLI's for 2013 season

The Stony Brook women's soccer team and head coach Sue Ryan have announced the signings of eight student-athletes to NLI's. Kimberly Comstock, Christina Fluman, Hannah Groth, Lindsay Hutchinson, Lauren Kovalchuk, Maxie New, Elise Pratt and Leah Yurko will be eligible to play for the Seawolves in the fall.

Teepe returns from successful ODP trips to Germany, Texas

Women's soccer assistant coach Eric Teepe recently returned from a pair of successful trips with Olympic Development Programs (ODP). Teepe led the US U-15 Youth Soccer Region I team on a training trip to Germany and helped guide the Eastern New York squad to a national championship appearance in Texas. [READ MORE]

Welham spends week with West Brom of the EPL

Stony Brook women's soccer associate head coach Steve Welham recently visited the UK for a coaching education experience with West Bromwich Albion of the English Premier League. Welham spent a week with the club learning coaching techniques in training sessions and matches.
