#Seawolves hold strong at No. 10 in NSCAA Northeast Region Poll

Kansas City, Kan. - The Stony Brook women's soccer team (7-3-1) was ranked in the latest NSCAA Northeast Region Poll, as announced Tuesday. The Seawolves held strong at No. 10 in the region and have now been ranked in five weeks of the 2013 season.
Unbeaten Georgetown tops this week's poll once again, followed by Marquette, Louisville, South Florida and Connecticut in the top five. Rutgers is sixth, Monmouth is seventh, DePaul is eighth and St. John's is ninth.
The Seawolves dropped UMass Lowell, 1-0, on Sunday to improve to 2-0-0 in the America East. Stony Brook has won its last five games against America East schools dating back to last year, with all five victories coming by a one-goal margin.
Stony Brook will return to the site of last year's conference final on Thursday for a showdown against Hartford. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
