Stony Brook, N.Y. - SEAWOLVES LOOK TO CONTINUE WINNING STREAK: Stony Brook was idle last week but is back in action this week as it looks to add to its two-game winning streak beginning on Tuesday against Quinnipiac. That game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 11 but was moved to Tuesday, October 10. Kickoff is 3:30. On Saturday, the Seawolves will play host to the Big Red of Cornell on homecoming weekened.

SEAWOLVES SEEK REVENGE: Tuesday's game against Quinnipiac represents a chance for Stony Brook to avenge last season's overtime loss to the Braves. The Braves stunned Stony Brook last year with 2-1 win with just over three minutes remaining in overtime.

LOOKING TO PUT ONE IN THE WIN COLUMN: Stony Brook has never beaten Quinnipiac or Cornell in its history. The Seawolves are 0-1 versus Quinnipiac all-time while the Big Red holds a 3-0 edge.

GREENBERG AND NELSON HONORED: Freshman Sarah Greenberg's goal and game-winning assist earned her Independent Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the second time last Monday. Her teammate Lori Nelson was tabbed as the Player of the Week. Nelson made her first two starts of the year and registered back-to-back shutouts in wins over Lehigh and Albany.

INJURY UPDATE: Kristin Baker (foot) and Krisha Zagura (knee) reaggravated previous injuries and are questionable for this week's games. Lisa Mariano (partially torn MCL) is still doubtful on her return. She has been out since game five and hopes to be in uniform on Saturday against Cornell. Sarah Hanover (ankle) has returned to practice and may play on Tuesday.

FROM THE COACH: "This will be a big test for us to see if we can picked up where we left off over a week ago," Ryan explained. "We hope to get back in the groove quickly against Quinnipiac."

WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYERS FEATURED ON UNIVERSITY TV: Kerri McCabe, Ashley Blake and Lauren Canino made their campus television debuts last week. The three players along with some other Stony Brook athletes were the first to make "video bios" which will be aired daily on campus. It is an effort to help the campus community discover who our student-athletes are and what they are doing.

NEWS AND NOTES: Jen Fontanetta has a career-high five goals on the year . . . McCabe leads the team in scoring with eight goals and four assists . . . the Seawolves have scored six goals in a game three times this year (Canisius, Belmont, Albany)
