Eric Teepe begins his eighth season as an assistant coach at Stony Brook. Teepe’s responsibilities include recruiting, scouting and promoting the Seawolves’ women’s soccer program. A 1987 graduate of Averett College in Danville, Virginia, Teepe received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management. While at Averett, he was a four-year performer on the men’s soccer team and served as an assistant coach upon graduation. Teepe, who holds an Advanced National license from the NSCAA and the USSF B license, is currently the head coach of the New York State Under-17 Olympic Development Team. He is also a member of the Region I coaching staff. At Averett College, he was named to the Dixie Conference First-Team in 1986, after earning Honorable Mention honors during the previous three seasons. In 1984, Teepe was a member of the VISA All-State Team and has worked with many Northport club teams. Teepe and his wife Christine live in Northport with their two children Emily and Allison.. |
