2011 & 2012 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championships

The 2011 and 2012 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championships are coming to LaValle Stadium on the campus of Stony Brook University. Stony Brook will host the national semifinals and national championship game of each tournament and will crown a national champion. The 2011 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship will take place May 27 and 29.

Stony Brook has had two NCAA Tournaments come to campus over the last few years. The Seawolves hosted the 2006 and 2010 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship North quarterfinals, and in 2010, saw a record 10,024 fans at LaValle Stadium as Stony Brook fell to top-seeded Virginia.

2011 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship semifinals - Friday, May 27
Semifinal #1: No. 1 Maryland vs. No. 5 Duke, 5 p.m.
Semifinal #2: No. 2 Northwestern vs. No. 3 North Carolina, 7:30 p.m.

2011 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship final - Sunday, May 29
National Championship: 4 p.m.
