GoSeawolves.org is counting down the days until #Seawolves Tip-Off on Nov. 8 when both the men’s and women’s basketball teams are hosting their home openers. Visit every day for new content.

Stony Brook, N.Y. – Future #Seawolves (and their teachers and parents!) should mark their calendars! The Stony Brook women’s basketball team has a pair of fun days planned for children and adolescent fans this February.

On Sunday, Feb. 9, the Seawolves will celebrate Wolfie’s birthday and National Girls and Women in Sports Day when they take on New Hampshire at 2 p.m. Girls ages  5-12 will be invited to take part in a pre-game clinic.

Stony Brook will have an extra special crowd when it hosts Vermont in a Wednesday matinee Wednesday, Feb. 26 at noon. The Seawolves will welcome students from Setauket and Arrowhead Elementary schools. First, the young fans will get to enjoy a pep rally that will feature the band, dance and cheer and a visit from everyone’s favorite mascot, Wolfie, before watching Stony Brook play its final regular-season home game at Pritchard.

The fun continues in 2013-14. Call (631) 632-WOLF for tickets today.
