Stony Brook, N.Y. - Tickets for the upcoming America East Basketball Championship, to be held March 8-10 at SEFCU Arena in Albany, N.Y., are on sale through the Stony Brook Athletics ticket office.

Seawolves fans can purchase tickets for either the quarterfinal or the semifinal or both days. Tickets are $15 per session. To purchase, visit the ticket office in person or call 631-632-WOLF.

In addition, Stony Brook Athletics is offering a bus trip for fans who are looking for transportation to Albany. For $50, fans can reserve a seat on the bus and a ticket to the session that Stony Brook is playing in. If fans choose the bus trip, they must return home on the bus on the same day. The bus trip is contingent on filling all the seats, thus making the trip subject to cancellation.

For Stony Brook students, a separate bus trip is available. For more information on the student fan bus, contact Chris Murray at Chris.Murray@stonybrook.edu. Tickets to the student fan bus are available at the USG Ticket Office in the Student Activities Center.

The men's basketball team under head coach Steve Pikiell has wrapped up a share of the America East regular season championship and will be the No. 1 seed in the tournament in Albany. The Seawolves are enjoying their best-ever season as a Div. I program with a 21-6 overall record, a 12-2 America East record and the third-best field goal percentage defense in the country. Stony Brook wraps up the regular season with two games this week; Thursday at Boston University and Sunday at home vs. Albany on Senior Day.

The women's basketball team is still fighting for positioning among the tournament seeds and is enjoying a big turnaround year under Beth O'Boyle; the Seawolves have the fifth-best turnaround in Div. I going from four wins last season to 14 this season. Stony Brook ends the regular season Saturday at Albany.
