Seawolves on the Rise

The Seawolves (17-7, 8-3 America East) notched their best record through 20 games in Division I program history (15-5) and have already passed their win total from last year's 14-win turnaround campaign. They posted school records of nine wins and a .692 winning percentage in regular-season non-conference play. Stony Brook's 17 wins rank fourth in its Division I history and are one shy of matching the 1999-00 and 2006-07 teams for second all-time. The Seawolves won 20 games in 2006-07.
