Ston.y Brook, N.Y - Jon Sigurosson and Bryce Cullinane each won individual events and the Seawolves "A" relay team won two relays but it was not enough as UMass beat Stony Brook 185-112 at the University Pool on Saturday. Stony Brook is 0-1 while UMass is 1-0

In the 10th event, Jon Sigurosson won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 27.52, more then one second better than the next competitor. Sigurosson was also part of the relay team that won the 200-yard medley.

Stony Brook swept the 30th event Bryce Cullinane won the 200-yard IM in 2:04.18 followed by teammates Alexei Smirnov and Jake Dorfman.

In the 200-yard medley relay, the Seawolves 'A' relay team just squeaked past UMass 'A' by nine seconds with a time of 1:37.19. The 'A' relay team won the 400-yard freestyle in 3:15.72.
