Freshman Veronica Reid (Duncan, British Columbia) also won an event in her first collegiate meet. Junior Sean Conway led the men's team with a pair of top-five finishes.

Deschenes won the 100 and 200-yard backstroke, each by more than one second, in 57:36 and 2:04.50, respectively. She also finished second in the 200 fly (2:10.97) and was part of the 200 medley relay that took fourth.

Reid had three top-ten finishes on Friday evening, including a win in the 200 breast (2:25.16). She placed second in the 100 breast (1:06.49) and ninth in the 50 free (25:41).
