Final Stats

West Hartford, Conn. - Rain and wind played havoc in tonight's America East men's soccer game between Stony Brook and Hartford as the two schools played to a 0-0 tie in double overtime on Saturday night at Al-Marzook Field. Stony Brook is 2-11-4 in conference play while Hartford is 7-5-3, 3-2-1.

Even with the game being played in 66 degree weather, the rain and wind made moving the ball difficult at times. Senior Dawid Ditrich (Gdansk, Poland) made five saves for Stony Brook, which played a scoreless, double overtime game for the second time in four games.

Freshmen Jherrett Maroney (Cincinnatus, N.Y.) and Tom Butler (Birmingham, England) each had scoring opportunities in the match but were unable to convert.

The final week of regular season play begins with a match at Binghamton on Wednesday evening. Kick-off is slated for 7 pm.
