Cambridge, Mass. - Senior Jeff Tundo (Orchard Park, N.Y.) and freshman Challen Rogers (Coquitlam, British Columbia) were named America East Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, the conference announced on Monday.

Tundo combined for six points and seven assists in road wins over St. John's and Rutgers. The lefty midfielder exploded for a career-high nine points (5g, 4a) in an 11-7 win over the Red Storm. In the triple-overtime victory on Saturday, Tundo assisted on freshman Brody Eastwood's (Victoria, British Columbia) game-winning goal.

Rogers, who had a goal and an assist against St. John's, recorded his best performance as a Seawolf against Rutgers, totaling three goals and three assists. He's tied for third on the team in goals (6) and second in assists (7).

Stony Brook, which is tied with Colgate and Maryland in road wins (3), hosts Siena Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
