2008: Played in 13 games, starting the last nine of the season ... took over as Stony Brook's primary face-off man in that stretch ... finished the season winning 52 percent of his face-offs to finish 25th in the nation as a freshman ... tied for second in ground balls (44) ... won 13 of his 20 face-offs against Lafayette (3/18) also had a career-high seven ground balls against the Leopards ... took a season-high 17 face-offs (out of 29) at UMBC (3/29) ... another seven ground balls vs. Vermont (4/5) ... picked up the first point of his career with an assist at Binghamton (4/19) ... against Albany (5/1) at the America East Tournament he won a face-off, took it in and scored his first collegiate goal.
