PRIORE'S WEEKLY TELECONFERENCE
Stony Brook, N.Y. -
In this week's Big South football teleconference, Stony Brook head coach Chuck Priore recaps the Syracuse game and looks forward to facing Colgate on Saturday.
Syracuse recap
- "I think we lost to a better team last week. A goal of our staff was to see and judge where this program is. Despite the loss, I think we accomplished a lot; we handled the adversity of playing away from home for the first time this season and in a difficult environment. I thought we matched their physicality and played a near perfect first half."
- "Overall, I was real pleased with our performance."
Looking ahead to Colgate
- "Colgate is a program that has maintained a level of consistency throughout the last decade. They've been a perennial playoff team."
- "In evaluating the film, they do a lot of things we do. They're going to run the ball and create big plays off play action."
- "We're 100% healthy and looking forward to seeing how we play coming off a loss."
