Representatives from the Stony Brook football team will head to Charlotte for Thursday's Big South Conference Media Day at the Renaissance Suites Hotel. The event will feature the announcement of the preseason poll and all-conference team.

The event will kickoff the 11th season of Big South football and feature a luncheon and interview sessions with local, regional and national outlets.

The preseason poll, all-conference team and video preview will be available online at 1:30 p.m.

The Big South Network presented by State Farm will broadcast live interviews with each of the seven school's representatives in attendance.  Seawolves fans can submit their questions in advance of Thursday's event.  The interviews are slated to begin at 1:40 p.m.

Stony Brook kicks off the 2012 season at home against Central Connecticut on September 1 at 6 p.m.  This year marks the 10th anniversary of Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium
