Big South Football Media Day Interviews to Be Broadcast Live on the Web

Stony Brook, N.Y. -

A new era in Stony Brook football will begin this week when the Seawolves take part in the annual Big South Conference Football Media Day that will be held in Charlotte on Friday. Interviews with head coaches and players from all seven schools, including Stony Brook head coach Chuck Priore and senior offensive lineman Lawrence Lovell (Brooklyn, N.Y.), will be carried live on the Big South website beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Fans who want to watch the interviews can access them through the Big South website, www.BigSouthSports.com, which will provide live streaming of the interviews free of charge. To watch the interviews please click here. For those fans that are unable to watch live, the interview sessions will be archived on the Big South website.

Stony Brook opens preseason camp on August 3 and will kick off its 2008 season with a pair of home games, part of an exciting six-game home schedule that will include three games against the Seawolves new Big South Conference opponents. Things will start on August 30 when Stony Brook will host Colgate at 6:00 p.m.

Season tickets and single-game tickets are currently on sale for Stony Brook’s six home games at LaValle Stadium. Tickets can be purchased 631-632-WOLF. Fans can also purchase tickets online by visiting www.GoSeawolves.org.
