Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook's football team will hold its annual spring game Sunday at 2 p.m. at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium. Fans will have the opportunity to get an early look at the defending Big South Champions.

The Seawolves return a potent offense, including the 2011 Big South Offensive Player of the Year in senior running back Miguel Maysonet (Riverhead, N.Y.). Senior quarterback Kyle Essington (Chino Hills, Calif.) will have the luxury of seniors Jordan Gush (Dallas, Texas) and Kevin Norrell (Los Angeles, Calif.), who combined for more than 1,200 receiving yards.

Junior Jawara Dudley (Roosevelt, N.Y.), a first team All-Big South linebacker, and senior Dominick Reyes (Hesperia, Calif.) lead a strong defensive unit, which ranked 11th in rushing defense and 29th in total defense.

A total of 14 starters on offense and defense return to a team which went 9-4, won an outright Big South title and advanced to the second round of the Division I Football Championship.

In addition to the game, Buffalo Wild Wings is sponsoring a season ticket holder appreciation day. All season ticket holders are encouraged to bring prospective season tickets holders and/or family and friends. Please note there is a maximum of three guests per season ticket holder.

The event will be held on the suite level from 1-4 in the stadium. Fans will have the opportunity to receive giveaways, win raffles and a meet & greet with head coach Chuck Priore.
