Stony Brook head coach Chuck Priore announced his 24-player recruiting class on National Signing Day Wednesday afternoon.  The class is made up of 17 high school seniors and five junior college and two Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) transfers.

The high school seniors will join the Seawolves for preseason in August.

Juniors Conor Bednarski (South Pasadena, Calif.), Zedrick Gardner (Miami, Fla.), James Kenner (Willingboro, N.J.), Max Martinez (Wichita, Kan.), Will Tye (Middletown, Conn.) and freshman Ron Denig (Selden, N.Y.) have enrolled at Stony Brook and will participate in spring practice.

Senior Nick Ferrara (Hicksville, N.Y.) has accepted a grant-in-aid offer and will join the Seawolves in the summer.

"I'm really pleased with this class top to bottom," Priore said.  "We've signed a class that's very balanced, accomplished our positional needs, added speed to our entire roster and height to our secondary."
