Senior Miguel Maysonet (Riverhead, N.Y.) rushed for a career-high 198 yards as the Stony Brook football team topped Colgate, 32-31, before a standing-room only crowd of 10,278 at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium on Saturday evening.

Junior Marcus Coker (Beltsville, Md.) led the Seawolves with two touchdowns.  Senior Cedrick Moore (Lakewood, Calif.) made nine tackles, including a game-saving tackle on Jordan McCord after he gained 33 yards, giving Colgate a first down on the Stony Brook 12 early in the fourth quarter.  The Raiders settled for a field goal for their only points of the quarter.

• After scoring 10 points and holding Colgate scoreless in the first quarter, Stony Brook is outscoring its opponents, 69-7, in first-quarter play.
• Stony Brook trailed 21-17 at halftime, making it the first time the Seawolves have trailed after 30 minutes.
• Maysonet recorded his 15th game with 100 rushing yards.  He moved into third place (3,341) on the Big South's all-time rushing list, passing VMI's Sean Mizzer (3,223).  The Walter Payton Award watchlist  nominee is only 283 yards shy of breaking former Liberty and current Jacksonville Jaguar Rashad Jennings' conference record of 3,633.
