Tony Thompson begins his third full year as a member of the coaching staff. Thompson logged two seasons, one as a student assistant in ‘97, as a linebacker coach but he will move up front to guide the defensive lineman this year. In addition to his work with the d-line, he will also coach the Stony Brook special teams. Thompson played at Western Connecticut for one year before transferring to USB in 1995. He then played for Stony Brook for two seasons before assuming the role of coach last year. He earned a B.S. in history in 1997 from Stony Brook and is now pursuing a master's degree at his alma mater. |
