Bobby McIntyre Position: Inside Linebackers Coach Experience: 1st season at SBU Alma Mater: Salem College '76

Bobby McIntyre officially joined the Stony Brook staff on May 2, 2011. A 30-year veteran of the coaching ranks, McIntyre will work with the linebackers.

McIntyre returns to Long Island after coaching at Bryant last season. During his time with the Bulldogs, he worked with the team's inside linebackers. A member of the staff at Nassau Community College from 2008-09, McIntyre worked with the DBs.

McIntyre coached at Hofstra University from 1989-2005. Eight players, who went on to sign NFL contracts, were tutored by McIntyre, who also served as a head coach at West Hempstead High School from 2006-07.

A 1976 graduate of Salem College in West Virginia, McIntyre earned a master's degree in Health Education from Hofstra, graduating with distinction.
