Andrew Jackson joined the Stony Brook staff in the summer of 2013.
In 2012, Jackson served as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, LIU Post. In a standout career with the Pioneers, Jackson earned PSAC East all-conference honors following a 36-tackle, five-sack senior season.
Jackson also was named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.
A member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Jackson earned the Christine Webb Award as a junior and the Roy Illowit Award as a senior, two of the athletic department's most prestigious honors.
Jackson graduated with a degree in physical education, and earned his master's degree in interdisciplinary studies.
