About the Game
Stony Brook chases a third America East regular season championship in the last four years when it takes on Maine. A win over the Black Bears will clinch at least a share of the regular season title. The Seawolves are also chasing a program record 11th road victory of the season. They have won four straight and six of the last seven on the road. This is the 29th all-time meeting between the two teams, and the Black Bears lead the series 16-12. Stony Brook has won the last four matchups and has won three of the last five meetings in Orono.

Scouting Maine
The Black Bears saw their three-game winning streak snapped by Vermont last Wednesday. Maine is playing its final home game of the season and has been very strong on its own court, going 8-3 overall and 5-2 in America East. The team has home wins over Boston, Vermont, Albany and Hartford, who are all ahead of Maine in the standings. Justin Edwards and Alasdair Fraser make the best offensive tandem in the league. Together they average 29.1 points per game. Coming on of late is Zarko Valjarevic, who has three 20-point outings in his last eight games, including a 21-point performance against Stony Brook last month. Maine struggles on defense, allowing 70.1 points per game; the team is 3-10 when it allows 70 or more points, though it has only given up 70 at home twice this season.
