About the Game
Stony Brook, the nation's leader in true road victories and winner of eight of its last nine games overall, plays a road game for the 12th time in its last 17 games Saturday against New Hampshire. This game represents the start of the second half of SB's conference schedule, having gone 7-1 in the first eight games for the second consecutive season. A win over the Wildcats would result in a Div. I program best 10 road victories on the season. This is the 26th all-time meeting between the two teams, and although the Wildcats lead the series 14-11, the Seawolves have won five straight matchups, including the last two battles in Durham.

Scouting New Hampshire
The Wildcats have rebounded nicely from a nine- game losing streak to win their last two games, both road victories. UNH tamed Binghamton by 18 points, 63-45, and then went to Maine and beat the Black Bears, 57-54. UNH is still in search of its first home conference win of the season. Points have been at a premium in Wildcats games of late. UNH's highest scoring output over its last 12 games is 64 points, and in the same span the highest opponent output is 72 points. UNH has held its conference opponents to just 60.5 points per game, which is third-best behind Vermont and Stony Brook. On offense, Chandler Rhoads has stepped up of late; he is averaging 12.0 points during conference play.

Strong defense, Warney lead men's hoops to win over UNH
Freshman Jameel Warney scored a game-high 18 points and blocked four shots, and the Stony Brook men's basketball team's swarming defense held New Hampshire to 30 percent shooting as the Seawolves topped the Wildcats 65-49 Saturday at a sold-out Pritchard Gymnasium. SB is now off to its best 14-game start in its Div. I history.

Last Time Out
The Stony Brook men's basketball defense limited Albany to just five field goals in the second half, and the Seawolves used that defensive momentum to build as much as a 23-point lead on their way to a 65-49 victory over the Great Danes. Four Seawolves posted double-digit points, including Anthony Jackson leading the way with 14. Jameel Warney produced a double- double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Tommy Brenton had 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists.
