Stony Brook, N.Y. - Now is your chance to bid on two more pieces of Stony Brook Baseball memorabilia from the team's incredible run to the College World Series.


Stony Brook Athletics is auctioning off two pieces of framed artwork that commemorate's Stony Brook reaching Omaha for the first time ever. The first piece is a 16x20 frame with a vintage baseball and the Stony Brook logo on top of suede. The College World Series logo and information about Stony Brook baseball has been laser engraved at the bottom.

The second piece is a 16x20 framed 2012 College World Series bracket, matted with a landscape photo of TD Ameritrade Park and the Stony Brook and College World Series logos.

After winning the America East championship, the Seawolves upended Miami (FL), Missouri State and Central Florida to win the Coral Gables Regional and advance to the Baton Rouge Super Regional against six-time national champion, LSU. The Tigers took game one, but Stony Brook bounced back to win games two and three to shock the world and advance to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.

The Seawolves capped the 2012 campaign with 52 wins, a program record, and laid claim to being the first-ever America East team and first Northeast Region team since 1986 to reach the College World Series.
