This will be the second meeting between the teams this season. The Seawolves knocked off the Knights, 16-7, earlier this season as Stony Brook recorded 17 hits and six players drive in two or more runs.
Ryan Krsey is hitting a team-high .336 and is also tied for the team lead with four home runs.
Fairfield is 5-5 in conference play and were picked seventh in the nine-team MAAC in the preseason coaches poll. Senior second baseman Tucker Nathans recently became the program's all-times hit leader and leads the team in batting average (.314) and RBI (22).
Stony Brook defeated the Stags in an 18-14 slugfest at University field last season.
