LIVE STATS: TUESDAY  |  WEDNESDAY

Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook baseball team will enjoy a pair of home games this week as it hosts Bryant and NYIT in non-conference action at Joe Nathan Field. The Seawolves will battle the Bulldogs Tuesday at 4 p.m., and take on the Bears Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. The game against NYIT was originally scheduled to be played on the road, but was moved to Stony Brook due to on-going field renovations in Old Westbury, N.Y.

This is the first known meeting between Stony Brook and Bryant on the baseball diamond. The Seawolves are 1-0 against members of the NEC this season, beating Fairleigh Dickinson earlier in the year. Stony Brook is facing one of the hottest teams in the country; Bryant has won 18 consecutive games, dating back to a 6-4 loss at Ohio State on March 17. Overall, Bryant is 23-9-1 and 12-0 in the NEC this season.

The Bears are on the opposite side of the spectrum, having lost 20 of their last 21 games. NYIT is 3-28 overall and 1-7 in the Great West Conference. Stony Brook and NYIT annually play non-conference games against each other, and the Seawolves have taken 12 of the last 14 meetings, dating back to the start of the 2008 season.
