High School: Attended New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, N.Y....earned three varsity letters for the Huguenots...Rawlings All-Northeast, Section I Pitcher of the Year, spring athlete of the year, all-section and all-state as a senior after going 6-1 with 108 strikeouts, just 12 walks and a 0.86 ERA in 58 innings of work...all-league as a junior after going 5-1 with 54 strikeouts...rookie of the year in 2002.
