Terre Haute, Ind. - Senior Hayley Green (Wellington, New Zealand) is an NCAA All-American after finishing 33rd out of 254 runners at the Cross Country Championships at Indiana State.

Green ran the 6,000-meter course in 20:24.3. She improved 39 spots from last year's 72nd-place finish.

"Hayley had a tremendous run against the best female cross country athletes in the country," head coach Andy Ronan said.  "With little margin for error to achieve her goal of top 40, she did not shy away from the challenge but met it head on.  I am thrilled that she is ending her cross country career as an All American."

Green, the America East Conference champion, capped an outstanding senior season. She also earned all-region honors after finishing fourth at regionals.
