New Orleans, La. - For a second consecutive year, Stony Brook University's men's and women's track and field teams both earned United States Track and Field and Cross County Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track and Field honors, it was announced on Thursday. To be nominated, the team must carry a minimum 3.000 cumulative grade-point average. The men's team had a 3.09 GPA while the women's team, who earned the honor for the third year in a row, was 3.39.
