New Orleans, La. - Juniors Lucy and Holly Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) and senior Alex Felce (Stroud, England) each have been named All-Academic by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization recently announced.

Lucy had a cumulative GPA of 3.72 in sociology and finished eighth at the NCAA Championships in the 1,500m. Holly had a cumulative GPA of 3.78 with a double major in English and sociology and finished seventh in NCAA Championships in the 5,000m.

Felce had a cumulative GPA of 3.58 in mechanical engineering and qualified for the NCAA East Regional Championships in the 3,000m steeplechase.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met either the NCAA Division I Indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard or participated in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships (including preliminary rounds) in their respective event.
