Vestal, N.Y. – The Stony Brook men’s and women’s track and field programs will compete in the 2013 America East Outdoor Championships May 4-5 in Vestal, N.Y.

Last season, then-senior Lucy Van Dalen broke the conference record in the 1,500 en route to Most Outstanding Track Performer accolades at the America East Championships.

Freshman Terry Martin topped his own school record in the 400 hurdles, while the 4x400 relay team featuring Eric Speakman, Shamell Forbes, Michael Lopizzo and James Snak broke the school mark in the event by nearly three seconds.

Both squads finished eighth.

Following the America East Championships, select Seawolves will participate in the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships May 10-12 in Princeton, N.J.
