Cambridge, Mass. - A second-place finish at the Carolina Classic has earned junior Lucy Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) America East Female Track Performer of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Van Dalen ran the 1,500 in 4:17.95, good for the sixth fastest time in the country and third best in the East region. The mark qualifies her for the ECAC Championships as well as first in the conference standings by over 13 seconds.
