Williamsburg, Va. – The Stony Brook men’s and women’s track and field teams wrapped up the weekend at the Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary Saturday. Junior Chris Hand placed sixth in the men's javelin on a 50.77-meter throw.

It was Hand’s second top-eight result of the competition. He placed sixth in the hammer throw Friday with a 48.70-meter heave.

Elizabeth Caldwell, Olivia Burne, Olivia Ritchie and Robin Lynn finished 10th in an ECAC-qualifying time of 9:15.02 in the women's 4x400-meter relay. 

The women finished 20th out of 50 teams, while the men came in 27th out of 47 teams.

Stony Brook returns to action Saturday, April 12 at the Providence College Invitational.
