Men's hoops wins sixth straight after shooting past Albany


The Stony Brook men's basketball team shot a blistering 59.1 percent in the second half and had four players score in double figures to come back and beat Albany 76-69 to remain in sole possession of first place in America East Saturday night at SEFCU Arena. Stony Brook has won six straight games and 12 of its last 13.

Numerous Seawolves victorious at Giegengack Invitational


Senior Lucy Van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) led Stony Brook's track & field teams at the Giegengack Invitational hosted by Yale University.

Women's Hoops rallies but falls to Albany


The Stony Brook women's basketball team cut a nine-point second half deficit to two but the Albany Great Danes used a late 14-2 run to pull away for 57-47 victory on Saturday afternoon at SEFCU Arena. Senior Whitney Davis led the Seawolves with 16 points.

Eleven talented student-athletes have signed national letters of intent to play football for defending Big South Conference champion Stony Brook, head coach Chuck Priore announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Swimming and diving concludes regular season at Binghamton
