Craig Schroeder, Jr. joined the Stony Brook athletics staff in November of 2007 as an Athletic Communications assistant. Schroeder is the media contact for men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's cross country and track & field, volleyball and softball. He is also in charge of all video production on the Stony Brook athletics website and produced Stony Brook athletics weekly television show, "The Stony Brook Sports Report."

Schroeder came to Stony Brook after working as a Multimedia Content Editor at ESPN where he produced a daily show to be aired on ESPN Mobile TV which recapped the morning's top stories. He also updated the ESPN MVP wireless application with text and video.

Before his time at ESPN he was a production assistant at WFSB Channel 3 in Hartford, CT. where he assisted in the various duties needed to produce a nightly newscast. Schroeder graduated from Ithaca College in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
