Adam Daveline joined the Stony Brook sports medicine staff in August 2010. His primary responsibility is as the assistant athletic trainer with the football team. Daveline also assists with the softball team and all other Stony Brook student-athletes when needed.
Daveline came to Stony Brook from the University of Kansas where he spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the men's and women's track and field and cross country teams while pursuing a master's degree in Athletic Administration. He also spent one year at Kansas as the intern athletic trainer working solely with the football team.
Prior to Kansas, Daveline received his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, he was a student athletic trainer working two years football, two years men's basketball, men's and women's swimming and diving, women's soccer, and outreach at a physical therapy clinic. Daveline also worked with the Michigan football team during the team's Rose Bowl appearances in 2005 and 2007.
Daveline is a native of Pueblo, Colorado and has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2007 and an Approved Clinical Instructor since 2008.
