Jeremy Cohen joined the Stony Brook athletics staff in September of 2007 as an Athletic Communications assistant. Cohen is the media contact for volleyball, women's basketball, tennis and baseball. Cohen comes to Stony Brook after working for two years at Eastern Kentucky University as an Assistant Director for Athletic Public Relations where he was the media contact for women's soccer, men's and women's cross country and track field, volleyball and baseball. Prior to going to EKU he worked for three years as a student assistant in the University of Richmond Athletic Public Relations department where he gathered statistics, wrote game reports on the athletic website, conducted post-game interviews and provided assistance with game-day operations in all sports. Cohen graduated from the University of Richmond in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science. He received his Master's in Sports Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. |
