Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook Basketball has added to its national broadcast schedule of 2013-14 #Seawolves games. The Department of Athletics has agreed with ESPN and Pack Network to deliver three February games that will be carried exclusively on ESPN3, ESPN's multi-screen sports network accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and streamed on televisions through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold members, Apple TV and Roku.

Stony Brook will deliver the men's basketball team's Feb. 1 game vs. Hartford (2 p.m.) and Feb. 8 game vs. New Hampshire (2 p.m.) and the women's basketball team's Feb. 26 contest vs. Vermont (12 p.m.). All three games will emanate from Stony Brook's historic Pritchard Gymnasium, which is hosting its final season of basketball before the men's and women's teams move into newly-renovated Stony Brook Arena for the 2014-15 season.

"We are proud to continue our great relationship with ESPN and to be able to bring three additional Stony Brook Basketball games to a national audience on ESPN3 via WatchESPN," Interim Director of Athletics Donna Woodruff said. "This agreement allows us to reach all of our fans and supporters, whether it's watching through the computer, smartphone or tablet and gives us the opportunity to showcase Stony Brook to college basketball fans around the country who may not already be familiar with our incredible university and student-athletes."

The games add to an already robust Stony Brook Basketball television package. The men's team has already been seen on the Big Ten Network and MSG and is scheduled for an appearance on SNY when the #Seawolves face VCU on Jan. 3. Then through the America East Conference's agreement with ESPN, the men's and women's teams will combine for seven games on ESPN networks, highlighted by the men's home game vs. Vermont on Jan. 24 to air on ESPNU and the women's team's battle with defending America East champion Albany on March 1 on ESPN3.

The men's basketball team, led by ninth-year head coach Steve Pikiell, has captured three of the last four America East regular season championships and is off to one of the best starts in program history with a 9-4 record that includes victories over Northeastern, Detroit and Loyola Maryland.

The women's basketball team is surging under third-year head coach Beth O'Boyle, who guided Stony Brook to a 10-win turnaround during the 2012-13 season, the seventh-best turnaround in the country. The #Seawolves are off to a strong start in 2013-14 with an 8-3 record, which represents their best-ever start in their Div. I history.

ESPN3 is available in more than 85 million homes at no additional cost to fans who receive a high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated provider. Major cable providers within Stony Brook's footprint that provide ESPN3 access are Cablevision, Comcast, RCN, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS TV. The network is also available at no cost to approximately 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers, smartphones and tablets connected to on-campus educational and on-base military broadband and Wi-Fi networks.

Pack Network, a Boston-based production company, has been producing quality HD collegiate sports content for Stony Brook since 2010 as well as other numerous schools in the Northeast Region, the America East Conference, the Northeast Conference and the Hockey East Association.
