#Seawolves Weekly Wrap Nov. 11-17

Nov. 18, 2013

#Seawolves Fans,

Last week, Stony Brook had a couple of big upsets on the road as the football team defeated nationally ranked James Madison and the women's basketball team overcame a tough start to beat a strong Bradley Braves team. Congratulations to both for their efforts!

This week, it's all about the #EmpireClash as the football team hosts Albany in the 2013 season finale. The SUNY rivalry is expected to heat up as this game represents a rematch of the 2011 NCAA Div. I Football Championship first-round game, won by the #Seawolves on a last-second interception by Dominick Reyes.

Tickets to the game are available online and by phone at (631) 632-WOLF. There will be a turkey drive, sponsored by Bethpage Federal Credit Union, so fans are encouraged to drop off a frozen turkey before coming entering LaValle Stadium. There will also be tons of student programming this week to get everyone excited to beat the Great Danes, so stay tuned on Stony Brook's social media channels for details.
