Stony Brook baseball freshman Daniel Zamora struck out a career-high 13 batters and was dominant for most of the day over eight innings, but Maine scored three runs in the sixth inning, and it was enough for a 3-1 win over the Seawolves Friday at LeLacheur Park. Senior Jeff Tundo of the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team has been named a USILA honorable mention All-American, the organization announced on Thursday morning. It's the first All-America honor for Tundo, who finished his Stony Brook career with 108 points in only 32 games.
